Alcúdia, called the city faithful in times of Christian reconquest, is the Arabic name and the Roman footprint. A past forged between them in a privileged enclave in northern Majorca. Alcúdia, genannt die Stadt Gläubigen in Zeiten der christlichen Rückeroberung, ist die arabische Bezeichnung und die römisch-Fußabdruck. Eine gefälschte Vergangenheit zwischen ihnen in einer privilegierten Enklave im Norden von Mallorca. Es liegt nur einen Steinwurf von der Serra de Tramuntana, Alcúdia hat seinem Rücken nach Mallorca und ländlichen Bauern, und baden ihre Füße den Gewässern von zwei Buchten, Pollença im Norden und Osten von Alcudia. Alcúdia ist in der Mitte dieses Raums der Gegensätze, zwischen der Steinmauer von Serra und sandigen Buchten der Bucht alcudiense, zwischen Nord-Wind-, See-und Binnenhäfen. Alle Mallorca befinden sich in der Nähe von Alcudia.

Das historische Erbe, das keinen Abbruch tut Alcúdia bleibt heute ein Ort unbekannt, und viele Bewohner Mallorcas. Wie erstaunlich, wie für einige unbekannte der Mehrheit zu fördern. Er fand rund Terrassen und Bars, die es uns ermöglichen Freude an diesem ruhigen Ort und kombinieren Sie ihn mit einem guten Speise.In jedem der Platz verlassen kurvenreichen Straßen in verschiedenen Richtungen bis zu einem gewissen Punkt in der Wand, Türen und Xara Sant Sebastià, oder die Kirche Sant Jaume, liegt das Gegenteil der römischen Stadt Pollentia, und ein wenig über die römische Theater, ein “selten”, und dass anstatt gebaut, wird gegraben in den Felsen.

In knapp zwei Meilen finden wir die Port d’Alcúdia, ein kleiner Fischerhafen transformiert heute in einem Dorf das Leben aus dem Meer. Die Promenade, verliehen in verschiedenen Wettbewerben für Architektur und Städtebau, kreuzt den Hafen in einem netten Spaziergang mit Duft Brise. Auf der einen Seite das Meer, llauts traditionellen Fischerbooten und moderne Marina von Alcudiamar. Auf der anderen Seite, die am besten Fisch-Restaurants, Eis Salons und Kleidung speichert. Und vor dem Strand, Meilen von feinem Sand, zieht der Halbkreis über der Bucht von Alcudia. Es ist das am überfüllten Strand, das alle Arten von Dienstleistungen aus Kiosken Boote mieten oder Segelkurse.

Es ist nicht der einzige Strand. Diese Strand Suchende haben viel zu tun Alcúdia in der Stadt, denn es gibt fast zwei Dutzend: Sand, Steine, die nur auf dem Seeweg. Unter den intimen Strände zählen Alcanada, S’Illot oder Coll Baix. Letzteres ist ein wahres Wunder der Natur, auf die nur mit dem Boot zugänglich ist oder nach einem angenehmen Ausflug zwischen den Kiefern und Felsen.

Gerade seit Coll Baix beginnen einige sehr interessante Ausflüge für die Liebe, Trekking und Natur, da es klettert bis Sa Talaia, einem ehemaligen Wachturm Defensive auf dem höchsten Punkt der Stadt. Von oben sind die beiden Buchten, Serra, Alcúdia, die Pla de Mallorca und wenn der Tag klar ist, die Küste von Menorca.

Aber wenn es irgendwo verpasst für Naturliebhaber und sind S’Albufera S’Albufereta, zwei der größten ökologisch wichtige Feuchtgebiete der Balearen, mit Sitz in Alcúdia und seine Umgebung, und die Zusammenführung eine interessante Tier-und Pflanzenwelt. Wie könnte es anders sein, können wir Ende dieser Tour von Alcúdia in Sa Plaza, der Ort, inspirierte die Werke von Alexandre de Cuellar berechtigt Cafè Plaza. Alcúdia, denominada ciudad fidelísima en tiempos de reconquista cristiana, tiene el nombre árabe y la huella romana. Un pasado forjado entre unos y otros en un enclave privilegiado en el norte de Mallorca. Situado a un paso de la Serra de Tramontana, Alcúdia tiene a su espalda la Mallorca rural y campesina, y sus pies los bañan las aguas de dos bahías, la de Pollença al Norte y la de Alcúdia al Este. Alcúdia se sitúa en medio de esta zona de contrastes, entre la muralla de piedra de la Serra y las calas arenosas de la ensenada alcudiense, entre el viento del norte, el mar y la tierra adentro. Todas las mallorcas están cerca de Alcúdia.

La herencia histórica no quita que Alcúdia siga siendo hoy un lugar desconocido para muchos mallorquines y residentes. Tan desconocido para algunos como sorprendente para la mayoría. No es común encontrarse un lugar tan auténtico situado tan cerca de los núcleos turísticos y que haya sabido mantener esa esencia de pueblo mediterráneo donde todo ocurre a otra velocidad, donde todo se saborea y se disfruta. En Alcúdia, en cierto sentido, se vive hoy como antaño, recogido dentro de sus murallas medievales (que se empezaron a construir en el año 1300). Sa Plaça es el centro neurálgico de los alcudienses, el lugar de paso obligado, el punto de encuentro. A su alrededor encontramos terrazas y bares que nos permiten disfrutar este lugar apacible y combinarlo con un buen manjar.

A uno y otro de la plaza salen callejuelas que serpentean en varias direcciones hasta llegar a algún punto de la Muralla como, las puertas de Xara y de Sant Sebastià, o la Iglesia de Sant Jaume, frente a la cual yace la ciudad romana de Pollentia, y un poco más allá el Teatro romano, un “rara avis” ya que en lugar de estar construido, está cavado en la roca.

Una hilera de naranjos marca el trazado de las calles principales, el Carrer del Moll y el Carrer Major. En estas calles y las adyacentes nos encontramos con pequeños comercios que de joyas, zapaterías, tiendas de ropa, bares, restaurantes entre grandes casales construidos muchos siglos atrás y pequeñas y apacibles placitas. Alcúdia es uno de esos rincones donde vale la pena dejarse perder entre sus calles para ir descubriendo en cada esquina un nuevo encanto, una nueva sensación.

Cada martes y domingo por la mañana se agiliza el ritmo de la ciudad con el mercado. Los payeses, comerciantes, artesanos, artistas llenan el pueblo de bullicio y color, alrededor, dentro y fuera de la muralla medieval.

A apenas dos kilómetros encontramos el Port d’Alcúdia, un pequeño puerto de pescadores transformado hoy en un pueblo que vive de frente al mar. El paseo marítimo, premiado en diferentes concursos de arquitectura y urbanismo, atraviesa el Port en un agradable paseo con aroma a brisa. A un lado el mar, los llauts tradicionales, las barcas de pesca y el moderno puerto deportivo de Alcudiamar. Al otro lado, los mejores restaurantes de pescado, heladerías y tiendas de ropa. Y de frente la playa, kilómetros de arena fina que dibuja el semicírculo de la bahía de Alcúdia. Es la playa más concurrida, la que cuenta con servicios de todo tipo desde chiringuitos hasta alquiler de embarcaciones o cursos de vela.

No es la única playa. Aquellos buscadores de playa tienen mucho que ver en Alcúdia ya que en el municipio hay casi una veintena: de arena, de piedras, accesibles sólo por mar. Entre las playas íntimas cabe mencionar la de Alcanada, la de S’Illot o la del Coll Baix. Ésta última es un verdadero prodigio de la naturaleza al que sólo se puede acceder por barca o después de una agradable excursión entre pinos y rocas.

Precisamente desde el Coll Baix comienzan algunas excursiones muy interesantes para aquellos amantes del trekking y de la naturaleza como la que sube hasta Sa Talaia, una antigua atalaya defensiva situada en el punto más alto del municipio. Desde arriba se ven las dos bahías, la Serra, Alcúdia, el Pla de Mallorca y cuando el día está claro, la costa de Menorca.

Pero si hay algún lugar de visita obligada para los amantes de la naturaleza son S’Albufera y S’Albufereta, dos de los humedales de mayor importancia ecológica de Baleares, situados en Alcúdia y sus aledaños, y que reúnen una interesante vida animal y vegetal.Cómo no podía ser de otra manera, podemos acabar este recorrido por Alcúdia en Sa Plaça, el lugar que inspiró la obra de Alexandre Cuéllar titulada Cafè de Plaça. Allí escribió sobre Alcúdia “(…) Muchas más cosas podríamos decir de este pueblo extraordinario; muchos elogios podríamos, todavía, dedicarle, porque realmente lo merece. Cada año le encontramos nuevas virtudes, cada año se nos mete un poco más dentro del corazón, cada año le queremos más”.
